Making decisions for yourself is one of the most liberating things about adulthood—but it can also become annoying and overwhelming. Some days you don't even want to choose what you are going to have for dinner, let alone what your next career move will be or whether you want to start a family. Perhaps that is part of what makes having a screen addiction so appealing because once you are hooked on your chosen sites and social media platforms you have few choices to make aside from whether you want to keep on scrolling or not. Random memes are an extension of this, giving you a varied selection of visuals to rest your eyeballs on until you decide that you've had enough. Many of the ones here are kind of spooky, although a proportion of them aren't. That's what we like to call balance, which is something important to all of us.
